CDL Driver

The Keri Shull Team is looking for a Driver to transport clients and internal employees in a comfortable, safe and timely manner. The schedule for this role will vary and total about 10 hours per month with at least one week notice from the date of the event. To be considered for this role, you must have a valid driver’s license, a CDL License, and a clean driving record with no traffic violations. The company owned bus that this driver will be operating, holds up to 28 passengers, which is why a CDL license is required. This person will function as a 1099 employee.

Responsibilities

• Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip
• Pick up clients from the place and at the time they’ve requested
• Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up-to-date on road conditions
• Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed
• Answer clients’ questions about the area and local places of interest

Skills

• CDL License required
• Proven experience as a Driver
• A valid driver’s license
• A clean driving record
• Familiarity with GPS devices
• Knowledge of roads and neighborhoods in the DMV area
• Availability to occasionally take weekend and night shifts
• A polite and professional disposition
• Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)
• Ability to work with noise/distractions is a plus
