I found Kyle Russell by chance, but it did not take long to realize how lucky I was to have such a friendly, resourceful, and exceptionally helpful real estate agent. It was honestly a pleasure to meet up every time I wanted to see a place. I had anticipated that buying our first home in this area by myself with my wife deployed at the time would have many pitfalls—Kyle helped me avoid pretty much all of them. He always had the answer for my questions (and boundless patience in walking a first-time buyer through the process). He was super responsive, listened to our preferences (even made the effort to reach out to my wife half a world away) and always responded almost immediately. We owe him a debt of gratitude for helping us land a townhouse in Alexandria at asking price: his suggestion of a last-minute lender was something the sales agent specifically cited as a reason we got the place amid other higher offers. Furthermore, we had a couple of weeks in between closing and move-in, and Kyle got us a storage unit at no cost to us and even came prepared to help do some moving! I really can’t speak highly enough of the tremendous job he did.
