Astro Doughnuts & Fried Chicken opens their new location in Falls Church, VA with a broadened menu and room to sit down.
The 1,200 square foot shop at 7511 Leesburg Pike can seat about 10 people — with additional kitchen equipment, the menu will expand to include egg sandwich options, as well as tater tots.
You can expect the same treasured doughnuts as the original Metro Center location, in flavors like black and white and creme brûlée (Astros’s “best seller by far,” co-owner Elliot Spaisman says; it’s his favorite, too).
The company decided to open in Falls Church after the ongoing success with their food truck in the Tysons Corner market.
Hours will be Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. (they’ll close at 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday).
