Raised by missionaries, John follows his family's deep-rooted commitment to service and sacrifice and knows first-hand the promises and precautions intrinsic to home ownership. John's passion and expertise stem from his experience moving within and across nine states - as local as Ashburn, Annandale, and Centreville - as well as from the coast of Hawaii to the coast of New Hampshire. From the excitement of unboxing in a new home to the reflection on his family's homeownership throughout the 2008 financial crisis, John prepares his clients with the guidance he sought growing up.

 

John graduated Phillips Exeter Academy and Syracuse University on full scholarships with a B.S. in Communication and Rhetorical Studies. Before joining The Keri Shull Team, John worked in Los Angeles's multifamily, affordable housing industry with a focus in senior living, veteran housing, and chronically homeless housing.

 

In his free time, John frequents the gym, tunes into NBA and NFL Sundays, and spends time with his family, friends, and far too many cups of coffee.
