The Washington Wizards center just bought his first home in D.C. Mahinmi was born and raised in France, and just recently moved to the area with his wife from San Antonio to play with the Wizards. He purchased a six-bedroom single-family home in Cleveland Park for a cool $2.65M.

Jackie Kennedy
The wife of the late, former president, John F. Kennedy, and her children once lived in this sprawling 7,000 square foot six-bedroom, five bathroom house in Georgetown which is now listed for $10M. Mrs. Kennedy only lived there for a short time before moving back to New York, and though others have lived there since her passing, the home — which dates back to the 1790s — is still synonymous with the Kennedy family.

Robert Griffin III
RGIII’s time is up in the DMV, both professionally and personally. The former Washington Redskins quarterback has listed his home in Aldie, Virginia for $2.749M. The ornate, luxurious 9,000 square foot mansion boasts five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a library, theatre, wine cellar, and custom pool and hot tub on a 3.13 acre lot.

Warren Buffett
The American business mogul and one of the wealthiest people in the world, Warren Buffett, once lived in D.C.’s affluent neighborhood of Spring Valley, and his former childhood home hit the market this year for a modest $1.55M. The current owners list the home as having recently undergone renovation and expansion.
